Barcelona Museums
There are a lot of museums in Barcelona, far more than we could see in a few days, but there were two we did plan to visit. The first was the Picasso Museum, and the second was the Barcelona City History Museum.

Barcelona by foot and subway
On our first full day in Barcelona we set off fairly early for the local subway station, before it got too hot.

La Sagrada Familia
One of the places I was looking forward to seeing in Barcelona was La Sagrada Familia – one of the biggest basilicas in Barcelona. It’s that one that is still being constructed (stated in the 1800s) that is all lumpy on the outside and has crains all over it. It is a popular sightseeing spot.
