After visiting during the day I went back at night to try and get some photos of the Cathedral. One of the advantages of being so far north at this time of year is that “night time” is anytime after about 4pm, and by 6 or 7pm it is very dark.
In the morning I got my gear into my bag and set out for a walk into town. I wasn’t sure where I was going to end up, but went down to the river. There was a lot of snow on the ground, and I had my spikes on my boots
I know it’s cliche to say that is has been a while, nearly 18 months or so, since I did one of these. Good news, I have written some other blogposts over the last while, but not one of these. I also took the time to go over why I can’t decide which camera I like the most.
Photography
This year I have managed to take some photos, and am still very much enjoying it. Despite everything I managed to get to the NT in May for just over a week. I still don’t know how we managed it between all the lock downs. That was of course fantastic for photography – I really should write a post about that soon …
I’ve had this blog post in my head for a little while. I have a bunch of different cameras that are great in different scenarios. I don’t think any of them are ‘better’ than any other, they are all different. They have different capabilities. Some are better at sports, some are better in low light. Some weigh over a kilogram, some fit in a pocket.
While I am still working my way through the last two (or three) countries in my SweetChilly blogs, I wanted to take the time to post some photos from a couple of weekends away I’ve managed this year.
