An exhibition was ending on the weekend (a while ago) so I decided to pop in.

Actually I dropped past a couple of times, but the first time was just to see Ouroboros – a magnificent sculpture out the front.

Inside I went through to the Ethel Carrick exhibit. I was really happy I managed to find two pieces from Canberra (links to Canberra Museum and Gallery – assume the pieces were on loan to the NGA.

It had been a little while since I had been to the gallery, so I had a little wander around. Strangely enough I thought I recognise one of the walls from somewhere.

Turns out I was right, and I did recognise it from somewhere. I had seen something similar about 12 months ago in London.

Back outside I went to visit Within without by James Turrell – part of the sculpture garden.
